Everything you need, at your service
We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible. Learn about the services we offer pediatric patients and their families at Floating Hospital for Children.
Floating Hospital for Children offers family waiting areas that provide comfortable settings in which family members may talk or rest, away from a child’s room. These waiting areas are located on the sixth and seventh floors of the hospital. Additionally, you can contact your care provider or child’s nurse should you need additional assistance or other places to wait. All waiting areas have wireless Internet access.

Wait at home, not in a Boston ER
When your child needs non-life-threatening pediatric emergency room care in Boston, Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center allows you to check-in for an estimated treatment time so that you and your family can wait at home instead of in a Boston ER waiting room.
