When a child is diagnosed with cancer or hematologic disease, it affects the entire family, which is why we have devoted significant resources to help parents and siblings, as well as the patients themselves. From support groups to Child Life Specialists to a school reentry program, we offer an array of outstanding patient and family support services that provide comfort to families.
Help Along the Way - We provide our patients and their families with a team of doctors, child life specialists, social workers, administrative specialists and visiting staff who provide support throughout a child's time in our care.
Family Friendly Housing and Amenities - Through generous gifts from the Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care and other donors, we are able to provide our patients and their families with world-class clinical units and nurturing housing options.
Support Services, Groups and Other Programs - We coordinate a number of programs and groups to offer hope and support for families who are dealing with a cancer or blood disease diagnosis.
