Tufts Medical Center's CFEC provides psychological and psychiatric assessment and expert testimony in a broad range of civil litigation matters that involve contested issues of mental health. CFEC provides consultation, clinical evaluation and testimony for adults and children involved in most areas of litigation. CFEC handles matters involving personal injury, employment, probate, disability and other litigation that involves mental health issues.
Services are tailored to fit particular circumstances. A typical evaluation includes diagnosis, assessment of acute and chronic stressors, short- and long-term disability, strategies for recovery, organizational responses, prognosis and damages. Additional diagnostic tools are developed to meet the needs of individual matters.
