Welcome! Floating Hospital for Children and Tufts Medical Center pioneer groundbreaking research including numerous clinical trials. Research is funded by the National Institutes of Health, private foundations, industry, and private individuals. Our mission is not only to advance knowledge but to train physicians and non-clinicians to become the investigators of the future.
The Floating Hospital’s Research Department has strengths in clinical, basic, and translational research. Our research interests are diverse and span from A (adoption) to Z (zebrafish), with L (lung biology), P (prenatal diagnosis), R (retinopathy of prematurity), and V (violence prevention), as well as other topics in between.
