Spasticity Management Clinic

Dr. Harry Webster is the Director of the Pediatric Spasticity Clinic in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation provides a multi-specialty spasticity assessment and treatment program. Our team works closely with the patient, family and community services to optimally manage spasticity-related issues that impede function and lessen quality of life. Patients seen in our clinic have a wide range of neurological conditions leading to increased muscle tone and spasticity.

The surgical treatments are performed in conjunction with the Orthopedic and/or Neurosurgical services. Traditional physical modalities such as therapeutic heat, cold and electrical stimulation are utilized, often in conjunction with state-of-the-art physiatric tone reduction techniques to enhance patient performance, comfort and productivity.
