International Adoption
The International Adoption Clinic at Floating Hospital for Children offers both pre-adoptive and post-adoptive services. Our goal is to provide comprehensive family preparation, as well as nutritional, medical, and developmental evaluations and support for internationally adopted children throughout all stages.
We provide educational programs for pre-adoptive parents, review a child's medical records prior to his/her arrival, as well as screening for the special health care needs of internationally adopted children.

At present, the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology has issued a statement and recommendations, available at : http://www.aspneph.com/
The American Academy of Pediatrics has not yet issued their statement about this issue; it is expected to be similar. Please note that these recommendations are likely to evolve over time as more information is gathered about this exposure.
