Head and Neck Cancer Clinic

Our multidisciplinary clinic evaluates patients with malignancies of the head and neck. Treatment is provided by our multi-specialty team, which includes an otolaryngologist, radiation oncologist, oral surgeon, oncologist and pathologist.
It is a forum whereby patients are presented an individually tailored plan of treatment. This includes all available treatment options based on current medical literature and practice. Its activities are extended beyond treatment through the Head and Neck Support Group.
Surgeons from the Department of Otolaryngology oversee the complete treatment of Head and Neck malignancy. They are involved in both the initial evaluation, coordination, surgical treatment, and follow-up. Members from the Divisions of Head and Neck, Facial Plastic-Reconstructive, and Otology work together to provide expertise in all areas of the head and neck.
Clinicians from the Department of Hematology/Oncology coordinate chemotheraputic treatment tailored to the specific patient needs. They provide therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings depending on the needs of the patient.
