Genetics and Birth Defects Clinic

Patients with known genetic syndromes, chromosome abnormalities, unusual physical findings, isolated or multiple congenital anomalies, pre-or post-natal growth retardation, or developmental delay are examined and treated by our physicians who are board-certified in medical genetics.
In addition, genetic physicians provide consultation to children and/or adults for a variety of reasons, including a suspected familiar cancer syndrome, a positive family history of an inherited disorder, biochemical or DNA testing to confirm a specific diagnosis or carrier status, recurrent miscarriage, and discussion following the identification of a fetus with structural abnormalities or genetic disorder.
