The Center for Adoptive Families at Floating Hospital for Children offers both pre-adoptive and post-adoptive services. Our goal is to provide comprehensive family preparation, as well as nutritional, medical, and developmental evaluations and support for internationally and domestically adopted children throughout all stages.
We provide educational programs for pre-adoptive parents, review a child's medical records prior to his/her arrival, as well as screening for the special health care needs of adopted children.
It is a pleasure to welcome Dr. Elisabeth McGowan to our staff at the Center for Adoptive Families. To learn more about our current faculty and Dr. McGowan as a neonatologist and consultant, click here.
