Psychiatry

The Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry offers comprehensive evaluation, treatment and consultation to children and adolescents with concomitant psychiatric and medical disorders, developmental impairment, learning disabilities, and ADD and ADHD.
Comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children, parents and families are provided in collaboration with referring physicians, schools and agencies.
We offer the following services:

Emergency service for children and adolescents who are in acute psychiatric crisis

a 12 bed pediatric psychiatry inpatient unit for ages 3-12.

An outpatient service which is directed by a full-time child/adolescent psychiatrist and includes a nurse clinician, doctoral-level psychologists, social workers, trainees and staff child psychiatrists

Consultation/Liaison Service

Comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children, parents and families are provided in collaboration with referring physicians, schools and agencies

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic
This clinic provides diagnostic and assessment services for children and adolescents with a variety of psychiatric disorders including psychiatric disorders with co-occurring medical disorders. Patients are then referred to aftercare services as indicated.
