Neurology and Neurosurgery

Our pediatric neurosciences services are provided through two divisions, the Department of Neurology and the Department of Neurosurgery.
The Department of Neurology and the Department of Neurosurgery provide pediatric care for a wide range of neurological disorders. Our doctors have special expertise in the following areas: seizures and epilepsy, neurology of the newborn, learning and attentional disorders, headaches, cerebral palsy, movement disorders and autism. Our neurosurgeons specialize in treatment of tumors and vascular disorders of the brain and spinal cord, as well as congenital disorders of the nervous system.
Floating Hospital for Children’s facilities, such as the Epilepsy Center for Children, are multidisciplinary in approach, bringing together practitioners from a wide background to focus on specific diseases. Other centers reflect our focus in specialized pediatric neurological disorders, such as the Center for Children with Special Needs, the Myelodysplasia Clinic and the Muscular Dystrophy Clinic.
