The Division of Pediatric Neurology provides care for infants, children, teens, and young adults with a variety of neurologic symptoms and problems, including those that affect learning, behavior, communication, or movement. Our commitment is to provide the most accessible, professional, and personalized care available to individuals with neurologic disorders.
Our goals are to understand the patient’s story and to address concerns of family members, while at the same time offering expert assessment, judicious testing, and conservative treatment. We invest time in parent education and in caretaker training, whether the problem is common or rare. We remain in close contact with pediatricians and other primary care physicians who are key members of the patient’s health care team.
Although most of our ambulatory clinics are offered during the day, evening clinics are available at Floating Hospital for patients who do not want to miss school or for parents who cannot miss work. In addition to ambulatory and inpatient services at Floating Hospital for Children, physicians in our Division presently offer specialty outpatient services at locations in Framingham, North Chelmsford, Lawrence and Woburn.
The Division of Pediatric Neurology also directs the Pediatric Electroencephalography (EEG) Laboratory at Floating Hospital, providing routine outpatient diagnostic studies and extensive inpatient state-of-the-art evaluations.
