|
Our pediatric neurosciences services are provided through two divisions, the Division of Neurology and the Department of Neurosurgery.
The Division of Neurology and the Department of Neurosurgery provide pediatric care for a wide range of neurological disorders. Our doctors have special expertise in the following areas: seizures and epilepsy, neurology of the newborn, learning and cognitive disorders, headaches, cerebral palsy, movement disorders and muscular dystrophies. Our neurosurgeons specialize in treatment of tumors and vascular disorders of the brain and spinal cord, as well as congenital disorders of the nervous system.
Floating Hospital for Children’s facilities, such as the Epilepsy Center for Children and the Neonatal Neurology Program, are multidisciplinary in approach, bringing together practitioners from a wide background to focus on specific disorders. More detailed information about collaborative services is available for the Division of Pediatric Neurology under Specialty Areas.
