Pediatric Trauma Management Course

KPTI offers an educational program on pediatric trauma management designed for nurses and emergency medical personnel. The five hour program presents basic and advanced concepts of trauma management including epidemiology, diagnosis, airway management, resuscitation techniques, system considerations and case studies.

The course has been taught for 26 years by Richard Murphy, PA, Asst. KPTI Director for Education, Asst. Professor of Surgery, Tufts University School of Medicine, Department of Surgery Tufts Medical Center.

After developing and  serving as instructor of this comprehensive and very popular course for so many years, Rich Murphy is retiring as the Director of Education for KPTI.  We greatly appreciate all the work and dedication he has given to this program.

We are currently preparing a narrated version of the Pediatric Trauma Management Course that will be available from our website or as a DVD. We anticipate completion in the Fall of 2008 and will announce the availability of the new program here on our website.
