Newman-Lakka Institute for Personalized Cancer Care

|
The Newman-Lakka Institute for Personalized Cancer Care has been established to accomplish a two-part mission: to improve outcomes for children with cancer by using the very latest in approved targeted cancer therapies, and to further our understanding of which of these therapies work best for current and future patients.
The approach of the Newman-Lakka Institute is different from other cancer centers that focus on identifying new tumor targets that can be used to develop new therapies. The Newman-Lakka Institute focuses on providing care to today's patients by using currently available targeted therapies that represent the best possible combination of agents for the individual patient.
Our focus is on offering our patients the best that current medicine has to offer. By researching and analyzing all aspects of patients' care, and by including both positive and negative outcomes, we will continue to advance care and determine how to make the safest, most effective use of therapies available to patients today.
