The METABOLIC OUTREACH SERVICE
The Metabolic Outreach Service (MOS) is an ongoing educational and consultative assistance program for academic medical centers that don’t have an on-site metabolic service. The aim of the MOS is not just to increase awareness about metabolic disease but to change clinical practice, enabling clinicians to "think metabolic."
Participating centers include Boston Medical Center (Boston, MA), Baystate Medical Center (Springfield, MA), Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (Lebanon, NH), Vermont Children's Hospital (Burlington, VT), Eastern Maine Medical Center (Bangor, ME), and Maimonides Medical Center (Brooklyn, NY).

After 3 years of planning, the Metabolic Outreach Service has finally begun! The MOS launch has been very successful, and thus has established a short term plan as well as a plan for the future. Our achievements thus far could not have been accomplished without the support of our sponsors, whose generosity we continue to rely on for the necessary funding to sustain and grow over the upcoming years.
A special thank you to our sponsors:
