Adolescent Health Services

Adolescent Health Services at Floating Hospital for Children includes our Adolescent Clinic and our Adolescent Family Clinic.

Our Adolescent Clinic provides comprehensive health services for teenagers, accepting patients from ages 12-18 for care and following them until age 24.

Our services include:

• Routine care
• Health education
• Sex education
• Family planning
• Pregnancy diagnosis, counseling and referral
• Treatment of menstrual disorders
• Treatment of sexually transmitted diseases
• Substance abuse
• Nutritional disorders
• Developmental/behavioral problems

Consultative services are available from all specialty divisions in the hospital.

Our Adolescent Family Clinic supports adolescent parents and their children in a specialized program that provides a family-oriented practice with medical care for parent and child by the same provider.
