Today, Floating Hospital for Children is proud to continue a tradition of caring for children and families that started with the founding of the hospital in 1894 on a ship anchored in the Boston harbor. The gifts of individuals, corporations and foundations support the three-part mission of the hospital: teaching, research and patient care.
