Ace's Place Playroom

The playroom is a safe place, free from medical intrusion and designed to be a comfortable retreat for children of all ages. 

 

Both inpatients and outpatients can participate in the many activities: playing pool or arcade games; using the computer; enjoying arts and crafts, or taking advantage of the outdoor deck that provides sunlight and fresh air.

 

Parents are always welcome as well as siblings with parental supervision. Attendance is based on infection control guidelines and medical approval.  Child Life provides supervised play/activity sessions Monday through Saturday in the playroom which is located on the eight floor of the Floating Hospital. 

 

Our hours are 10-12 in the morning and 2-4 in the afternoon.
