The Department of Pediatrics at Floating Hospital for Children provides pediatric inpatient and outpatient care in every medical specialty – from general pediatric services to the care of the most complex cancers, heart diseases and critical care cases. Our physicians are the academic pediatric faculty for Tufts University School of Medicine and are among the most talented and highly trained professionals in the country. In addition to the experience of our faculty, our size makes it possible for us to accenturate the personal touch in everything we do, be it family centerd children's care or education of residents and fellows.

The clinical strengths of the Department are enhanced by a strong commitment to research and education. Our clinical research center in conjunction with outstanding research infrastructure at Tufts University and Tufts Medical Center allow us to pursue some of the very best translational discoveries to help children.
Our residency program has 12 new residents every year, and we stress giving the personal touch to the teaching of each resident to prepare them to pursue their passions, be it subspecialty training or primary care.
