Satellite Center Directions
Tufts Medical Center and Floating Hospital for Children
Tufts Medical Center is located in downtown Boston, next to Chinatown and the Theater District and within walking distance of Boston Common, Downtown Crossing, and many hotels and restaurants.
The main entrance to Tufts Medical Center for patients and visitors is located at 800 Washington Street. This entrance has connections to all other inpatient and outpatient buildings.
Emergency services for adult as well as pediatric patients are located at the North Building, 830 Washington Street.
A Patient Valet Parking Service is available between the Medical Center's North and South Buildings, at 830-860 Washington Street. Call 617-636-8970 for hours of operation or additional information.
Parking is available in the Medical Center's garage at 274 Tremont Street, next to the Wang Center. All patients with an appointment will be accommodated. Parking tickets can be validated for reduced parking rates.

By Car
- From the North: From the Central Artery/ I-93 Southbound, take Exit 20-A (South Station) onto Purchase Street. Continue along Purchase Street, which becomes Surface Artery, to Kneeland Street. Turn right onto Kneeland Street. Go straight for several blocks, then turn left on Tremont Street. The Tufts Medical Center garage is on your left just past the Wang Center. Please note that periodic night and early morning "Big Dig" closures of other portions of Route 93 may cause delays from additional traffic at the Exit 20-A ramp.
In addition, I-93 South Exit 20A to South Station will undergo periodic night and evening closures in 2007. Drivers will be detoured to Exit 23, Purchase Street.
To reach Tufts Medical Center via Exit 23 off of I-93 South, travel along Purchase Street, which becomes Surface Artery, to Kneeland Street. Turn right onto Kneeland Street. Go straight for several blocks. Turn left on Tremont Street. The Tufts Medical Center parking garage will be on your left, just past the Wang Center.

- From the South: From the South: From I-93 Northbound, take Exit 20. (Exit 20 is a two-lane ramp that services destinations to I-90 East, I-90 West, and the South Station area.) Once on the Exit 20 ramp, follow the signs to "South Station" by staying straight (labeled 90 West/Worcester and South Station) and going past the left-hand exit to 90 East. Approximately 1/4 mile past the 90 East ramp, the two lanes of the ramp will split again, with the left lane servicing "South Station" and "Chinatown" (this is the lane for use by Tufts Medical Center patients), while the right lane is labeled "90 West Worcester." Take the South Station/Chinatown route to the left. Once on the path to South Station, take a left at the second signal light (at Kneeland Street) toward Chinatown.
Go straight on Kneeland Street for several blocks and turn left on Tremont Street. The Tufts Medical Center garage is on your left just past the Wang Center.

- From the West: From the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90): Take Exit 24 A (South Station exit). Turn left onto Kneeland Street. Go Straight for several blocks. Turn left onto Tremont Street. The Tufts Medical Center Garage is on your left, just past the Citi Arts Center.

By Public Transportation
The Tufts Medical Center Orange Line stop is located across from the main hospital entrance on Washington Street. Other nearby MBTA stops are Downtown Crossing (Red Line, Orange Line) and Boylston (Green Line).
We are also convenient to bus lines 3, 11, 43, 55 and the Silver Line.
Tufts Medical Center is a 15-to-20-minute cab ride from Logan Airport and within walking distance of South Station.

Satellite Clinics
From Route 128 South: Take Exit 6 (Rt. 37 W. Quincy/Braintree) and follow the ramp, staying in the left lane toward the upcoming traffic light. Take a left at the light and stay in the left lane. At the traffic light, take a left onto Wood Road. Stay on Wood Road for about a mile and 340 will be on your left.
From Route 93 South: Follow Route 93 South and go right at the Braintree split. Take exit 6 (Rt. 37 W. Quincy/Braintree) and follow the ramp, staying in the left lane toward the upcoming traffic light. Take a left at the light and stay in the left lane. At the traffic light, take a left onto Wood Road. Stay on Wood Road for about a mile and 340 will be on your left.
From Cape/South Shore via Route 3 North: Go left at the Dedham/Boston split. Take exit 6 (Rt. 37 W. Quincy/Braintree) and follow the ramp, staying in the left lane toward the upcoming traffic light. Take a left at the light and stay in the left lane. At the traffic light, take a left onto Wood Road. Stay on Wood Road for about a mile and 340 will be on your left.

From the South and West:
Take Mass Pike to exit 12 to Worcester Road/9. Drive east on Worcester Road/9, take right onto Main Street. Continue on Main Street which will turn into Union Avenue. From Union Avenue turn right on to Mt. Wayte Avenue. Continue on Mt. Wayte Avenue and turn left onto Franklin Street. Continue driving to arrive at 475 Franklin Street.
From the North and East:
Take Mass Pike to exit 13 to Cochituate Road/30. Drive southwest on Cochituate Road/30, take left onto Concord Street/126. Continue on Concord Street/126, take right onto Union Avenue. Continue north on Union Avenue and turn left on to Mt. Wayte Avenue. Continue on Mt. Wayte and turn left on to Franklin Street. Continue driving to arrive at 475 Franklin Street.

From Route 3 North: Take Route 3 North to exit 32, the Drum Hill Interchange. Take second right off of the interchange, Route 4 North. Turn right on Technology Drive. Turn right on Research Place. The Center is the second building on the left.

From I-95/128 North: Take exit 35 and follow the traffic circle, going under I-95/128. Soon after, merge right onto Route 38. Turn right onto Alfred Street. Take first right into Baldwin Park II.
From I-95/128 South: Take exit 35 onto Route 38, keeping right. Turn right onto Alfred Street. Take first right into Baldwin Park II.
